Responsibilities:

As a Full-Stack Developer in the Global Technology Unit team, your main tasks include:
- Build responsive, highquality frontend user experiences using modern JS frameworks (component-based UI, state management, performance etc.)
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs in Python
- Get involved in database design, data storage integration, and performance tuning
- Ensure software quality by participating in testing activities (unit tests, SIT, UAT etc.), code reviews, and CI/CD-oriented engineering practices in-line with BASF standards
- Monitoring and optimization of implemented solutions and the relevant infrastructure environments they run on, to minimize service disruption risks by analyzing metrics related to system/application health
- Supporting implemented solutions through troubleshooting and rectification
- Produce and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design documents, runbooks, and support materials
- Collaborate with technical teams across BASFs technology landscape within the automation domain




- Ensure solutions follow BASF technology standards, security policies, and integration guidelines

Requirements

Education:

Bachelor Degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Information Technology or business-technology related discipline.

Working experience
- 3-5 years of experience in software development as a ull-stack developer in a DevOps environment

Technical Skills (mandatory):
- Strong proficiency in modern front-end development using JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks (preference for Vue.js)
- Back-end development experience using Python frameworks (preference for FastAPI)
- Experience with API development and lifecycle management tools and standards (e.g. Postman, OpenAPI/Swagger)
- Valuable understanding of database design and data management principles (PostgreSQL, MongoDB preferred)
- Hands-on experience working in a DevOps-oriented development environment using collaboration and del
