Role & responsibilities
- Supervise the operation and maintenance of the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) and oversee the work of the ETP Chemist.
- Ensure compliance with norms and guidelines prescribed by the Pollution Control Board and other statutory authorities.
- Ensure that all procedures and legal requirements related to Safety, Health, and Workplace (EHS)are strictly followed.
- Conduct mock drills and safety training programs on a regular basis.
- Ensure timely completion of employee health check-ups and safety audits.
- Ensure that all fire and safety equipment,first-aid facilities, and personal protective equipment (PPE)are available and maintained in proper working condition.
- Carry out and review risk assessment studies and recommends corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain and update Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for all applicable materials.
- Maintain updated Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and records for all EHS-related activities.
