Job Summary

Job Objective - To Deliver High quality patient care while ensuring Safety and Comfort. Adhere to Protocols and best practices for optimal health outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Assess, Plan and Implement patient care based on Needs.
- Monitor Vital Signs, Hemodynamic Parameters, Fluid balance, Ventilator settings and Neurological Assessments continuously and accurately.
- Administer medications, infusions, Emergency drugs and other treatments as prescribed.
- Assist in and Perform nursing procedures such as wound dressings, Catheterizations, NG Tube feeding, Preoperative Postoperative Care etc.
- Assist with Invasive Procedures (Intubation, Central Line Insertion, Tracheostomy care etc) while maintaining strict aseptic technique.
- Provide appropriate Palliative interventions to manage Pain and discomfort in terminally ill patients.
- Offer Death care, accompanies every expired patient to the mortuary and documentations in line with Hospital protocols.
- Maintain strict Infection Control Protocols including Hand Hygiene, Biomedical waste segregation,



Isolation protocols etc.
- Operate and Maintain ICU Equipments such as Ventilators, Infusion/Syringe Pump, ECG Machine, Monitor, Suction Devices and Defibrillator etc safely and efficiently.
- Follow complete Hand over/Takeover of assigned patients including physically checking patients and their units.
- Checks special assignments like checking of Dressing Trolley, Inventory and any other assignment given by Team Leader.
- Attends all in-service education programs, External Workshop and certification programs for continuous skill enhancement.
- Participate in Code Blue Situations, Crash Cart Readiness and Critical Handover with accuracy.
- Customer Related - Offer Empathetic, Explicit and Honest Communication to patients and families.
- Uphold Patient Dignity and Comfort through regular Hygiene care, Repositioning and Pain management.
- Offer Emotional Support and Promote Patient Safety at every stage of care.
