Accounting Assistant Manager-7+ years-Mohali

We are looking for a skilled Accounting Assistant Manager to oversee general accounting processes and lead a team of approximately 1520 accounting associates. The role will be responsible for RTR activities, financial reporting, reconciliations, cash postings, compliance, team development, and process improvements. Property accounting experience is preferred.

Responsibilities
- General Accounting (RTR): Maintain accurate accounting books and oversee general ledger activities.
- Financial Reporting: Develop and maintain reporting systems and prepare timely, accurate financial reports.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and manage a team of approximately 15–20 associates.
- Accounting Operations: Oversee reconciliations, cash postings, GL activities, and day-to-day accounting operations.

1. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes,



improve accuracy, and implement accounting best practices.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; MBA Finance preferred.
- Proven experience as an Accounting Assistant Manager or in a similar accounting leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, RTR, GL, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Experience managing and developing a large accounting team with strong leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Yardi, RealPage, MS Office, and preferably experience in property accounting.
