JOB DESCRIPTION

Supplier Quality Engineer (FTC)

1. Position: Quality Inspector / Supplier Quality Engineer (Contractual)

2. Requirement: Immediate

3. Location: Kolkata

4. Working Nature

The candidate will be deputed primarily at supplier works across Kolkata / Howrah and

nearby regions.

Daily / Regular travel to supplier locations will be required for inspection and qualityrelated

activities.

5. Educational Qualification

Diploma or B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.

6. Preferred Experience

2+ years of experience in Quality Inspection, Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality, or

Production Quality.

Candidates with hands-on inspection experience is a must.

7. Basic Technical Requirements

The candidate should possess practical knowledge of:

Inspection of fabricated and machined components.

Conventional precision measuring instruments such as Vernier Calipers, Micrometers,

Bore Gauges, Height Gauges,



Dial Indicators, etc.

Engineering drawing interpretation, including GD&T; and machining symbols.

Machining processes and inspection of machined components.

Fabrication processes and welding inspection.

NDT methods VT & PT.

Dimensional inspection and preparation of inspection reports.

8. Added Qualification Advantage if Present

Raw materials such as Carbon Steel (IS 2062), Stainless Steel (SS304L, SS316L),

castings, and forgings.

Surface treatment inspections such as painting, Glass Bead blasted surface, etc.

NDT methods MT, UT, RT (Level-II certification will be an added advantage).

Communication skills in Hindi and Bengali should be positive. Good communication in

English will be an added advantage.
