Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop industrial valves and valve components using SolidWorks.
- Create 3D part models, assemblies, and detailed manufacturing drawings.
- Design and modify valve components based on customer requirements and specifications.
- Work on different types of valves such as Ball, Gate, Globe, Butterfly, Check and Plug Valves.
- Prepare GA drawings, component drawings, assembly drawings and BOMs.
- Apply GD&T;, dimensional tolerances, surface finish and engineering standards.
- Perform design calculations related to pressure rating, temperature rating, material selection and valve sizing, as applicable.
- Select suitable materials based on pressure, temperature, service conditions and application requirements.
- Ensure designs are suitable for manufacturing, assembly, inspection and testing.
- Review existing designs and implement design modifications and improvements.
- Work with manufacturing, quality, procurement and other engineering teams to resolve technical issues.
- Support prototype development, testing, validation and troubleshooting.




- Prepare and maintain engineering documentation, drawings, BOMs and revision history.
- Handle ECR/ECN and engineering change activities.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable API, ASME, ISO and customer-specific standards.
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical solutions for complex design/manufacturing issues.

Mandatory Skills
- 5+ years of Mechanical Design experience
- Strong hands-on experience in SolidWorks
- Strong experience in Valve Design / Valve Development
- Experience with industrial/process valves
- Good knowledge of Ball, Gate, Globe, Butterfly, Check and/or Plug Valves
- Robust knowledge of 3D modelling, assembly and detailing
- Good knowledge of GD&T;
- Experience in GA and manufacturing drawings
- Experience in BOM preparation
- Knowledge of engineering materials and manufacturing processes
- Experience in design calculations and engineering specifications
