Role Description The Team Lead – BIM (MEP) is a full time, on-site role based in Mumbai. The role involves leading BIM teams working on MEP designs, coordinating with designers and engineers, and ensuring that models, drawings, and documentation meet project standards and timelines.

The Team

Lead will oversee quality checks, manage workloads, support project planning, and ensure adherence to safety and compliance requirements. Daily responsibilities include supervising site-related BIM coordination, reviewing and resolving design clashes, communicating with stakeholders, and providing technical guidance and mentorship to team members.



The role also requires collaboration with global offices and alignment with Axium Global’s processes and quality benchmarks.

Qualifications

- Supervisory Skills and Site Supervision: Candidates should possess strong supervisory skills with experience overseeing BIM (MEP) teams and coordinating site-related BIM activities.
- Communication and Stakeholder Coordination: Candidates should possess effective communication skills for collaborating with internal teams, clients, and external partners.
- Inspection and Quality Assurance: Candidates should possess skills in inspection, model review, and quality control to ensure accurate and standards-compliant BIM outputs.
- Construction Safety and Compliance: Candidates should possess knowledge of construction safety practices and compliance requirements relevant to MEP and BIM projects.
- Technical BIM/MEP Expertise: Proficiency in BIM authoring tools (such as Revit MEP or similar), understanding of MEP systems, and familiarity with coordination and clash detection tools.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field, with prior experience leading BIM (MEP) projects.
- Additional Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, and experience working with international standards and clients is beneficial.
