Cooling Cad Lead Engineer

Scope of Role

CAD, powertrain integration. Cooling System and Components like hoses, degas tank, radiator, pumps, valves etc.

Area of Responsibility
- Candidate will be part of Powertrain teams as a full time CAD engineer for powertrain integration team.
- Conduct package checks, clearance report generation, cross-commodity liaison.
- Should have a positive understanding of vehicle package guideline.
- Sound knowledge of Plastic and Sheet metal design guidelines and manufacturing processes is required.
- Should have an ability to conduct benchmarking studies and propose innovative solutions.
- Good understanding of PCDS and major gateways.

Knowledge / Experience 5 to 9 Years

Essential:
- Automotive domain knowledge with working experience of powertrain system.
- Timely S/T/P releases by ensuring right information of CAD data is produced with BOM, weight management.
- Understanding of commodity release change management
- Understanding of Proto Production BOM , build support,
- Excellent CATIA V5 and CATIA V6 2D/3D skills.
- Exposure to PLM tools such as TeamCenter.

Qualification:

Bachelors degree in Mechanical / Automotive Engineering or related discipline.
