This role involves steering the curriculum, mentoring faculty, and driving clinical and academic excellence in alignment with NCISM standards.

Key Responsibilities- Academic Leadership: Lead the department in curriculum planning, execution, and continuous improvement, ensuring high standards of undergraduate and postgraduate Ayurvedic education.
- Teaching Mentorship: Deliver engaging lectures and practical demonstrations. Act as a mentor and guide for junior faculty, associate professors, and medical students.
- Research Development: Spearhead departmental research initiatives, encourage clinical trials, and foster a culture of publishing in peer-reviewed journals.
- Clinical Guidance: Oversee clinical postings and departmental OPD/IPD duties,



ensuring students receive robust hands-on training in patient care.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all departmental operations, academic schedules, and faculty deployments strictly adhere to the guidelines set by the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM).
- Institutional Growth: Collaborate with the hospital and college administration to organize seminars, workshops, medical camps, and continuous medical education (CME) programs.
Eligibility Qualifications (As per NCISM Norms)

To be considered for this senior professorial role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Qualifications:
- A Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) from a recognized university.
- A Post-Graduate degree (MD/MS in Ayurveda) in a recognized specialty included in the schedule of the NCISM/IMCC Act.
- Experience:
- A minimum of 10 years of teaching experience in a recognized Ayurvedic Medical Colle
