Responsibility

- Good understanding of operating systems, (Red hat Linux 5/6/7, HP-UX & Solaris). Demonstrated experience in handling day to day support on OS migration & Break fix support
- Experience in DNS, NFS, LDAP, Samba, remote access security management and extensive experience with RAID using Volume Management Software like Logical Volume Manager, Veritas Volume Manager, Solaris Volume Manager.
- Hands-on experience using ServiceNow for Incident Management, Change Management, Request Fulfillment, CMDB updates, and tracking support activities in an ITIL-driven environment.
- Experience in monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Spectrum, Splunk, Prometheus or Grafana and handling alerts.
- Software package and patch administration, involving adding and removing software packages and updating patches
- Extensive experience in OS Patching & Vulnerability patching




- Good experience on migration activities such as PV Migration, LVM Migration
- Good experience on Server build via VRA/VRO & Server decommissioning
- Good knowledge on VERITAS Cluster server, (creating service groups, adding/removing resources and enabling features, Service group failover)
- Strong Knowledge on Oracle RAC& Red hat Cluster
- Good experience in NFS configuration and handling issues
- Positive experience in troubleshooting system performance related issue
- Proficiency with configuration management using Ansible
- Good Knowledge in Linux-related scripting (Bash, Perl, Python, etc.)
- Experience in NTP Server configuration & Troubleshooting
- Experience in satellite management (Registration /deregistration & troubleshooting)
- Good experience in Vendor management
