We are looking for a Tax & Compliance Executive to work closely with the Finance Head and own end-to-end tax compliance while ensuring operational teams make tax-productive decisions.

Role

This is a high-ownership role for someone who can independently manage GST, TDS, and tax compliance while partnering with internal teams to ensure timely filings, audit readiness, and regulatory compliance.

The role requires someone who enjoys building structured processes, working with deadlines, and ensuring nothing slips through the cracks.

Key Responsibilities

- Own end-to-end tax compliance across GST, TDS, advance tax, and annual Income Tax filings, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
- Manage tax reconciliations by reviewing GST classifications, HSN/SAC codes, ITC eligibility, TDS deductions, and ensuring alignment with financial records.
- Ensure audit readiness and regulatory compliance by maintaining tax documentation, supporting audits, responding to notices,



and driving zero compliance gaps.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to review contracts, invoices, payroll, and vendor transactions, providing tax-efficient business guidance.
- Track regulatory changes and recommend compliance improvements, risk mitigation measures, and tax optimization opportunities.
- Strengthen tax processes and reporting by improving compliance tracking, documentation, and operational workflows alongside the Finance Head.

Who We're Looking For

- 1-3 years of hands-on experience in GST, TDS, and Income Tax compliance.

- Strong understanding of GST regulations, HSN/SAC classifications, ITC rules, and TDS provisions.
- Comfortable working on GST Portal, Income Tax Portal, NSDL, and accounting software.
- Advanced Excel skills with experience in reconciliations and reporting.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with multiple deadlines.
- Strong ownership mindset and proactive communication skills.

Good To Have

- CA/CMA (Pursuing or Qualified)
- Experience working in startups or high-growth companies.
- Exposure to statutory audits, GST notices, and tax assessments.
- Experience with Tally, Zoho Books, Busy, or similar ERP/accounting software.
