About The Role

We are looking for an experienced System Administrator –

- Veeam Backup L2 to manage enterprise backup, replication, recovery, and disaster recovery environments. The role requires strong hands-on experience with Veeam Backup &
- Replication and the ability to troubleshoot complex backup and recovery issues.

Location: Ghansoli, Navi Mumbai –

Employment Type: Contractual –

- Yearly Basis

Experience: 3–5 Years

Working Days: Monday to Saturday

Shift: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

2nd & 4th Saturday: Remote Support

Joining Requirement: Immediate Joiners to candidates with a maximum notice period of 15 days.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor daily backup, replication, and restore operations and ensure SLA compliance.
- Troubleshoot complex backup and replication issues escalated from L1.
- Perform RCA for recurring backup incidents and implement preventive measures.
- Perform Instant VM Recovery, File-Level Restore, and Application-Aware Restore.
- Support database and granular recovery for SQL, Exchange, Active Directory, Oracle, PostgreSQL, SAP HANA, and NAS workloads.
- Configure and manage Backup Jobs, Backup Copy Jobs, Replication Jobs, SureBackup/SureReplica, and SOBR.
- Manage Hardened Linux Repositories and Object Storage integrations.
- Configure and manage Veeam Agents for Windows and Linux and Protection Groups.
- Support backup and recovery for Windows Failover Clusters, SQL FCI, and CSV environments.
- Manage tape libraries, tape drives, media pools, GFS retention, and tape backup operations.




- Configure and monitor cloud backups for AWS, Azure, and Microsoft 365.
- Perform DR drills, failover/failback testing, and backup validation.
- Use Veeam ONE for monitoring, alerting, reporting, and capacity planning.
- Maintain SOPs, RCA documents, backup architecture, and operational reports.
- Coordinate with virtualization, storage, network, application, and vendor teams.
- Follow ITIL-based Incident, Change, and Problem Management processes.

Required Skills

- Strong hands-on experience with Veeam Backup &
- Replication v11/v12 or later.
- Experience with Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 and Veeam ONE.
- Knowledge of plugin-based and agent-based backups.
- Experience with tape backup infrastructure and Disaster Recovery.
- Knowledge of cloud and object storage integration.
- Good understanding of Windows Server 2016/2019/2022.
- Basic Linux Administration knowledge.
- Understanding of SAN/NAS, iSCSI/Fibre Channel, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, Firewall, and networking fundamentals.
- Basic PowerShell scripting knowledge is an added advantage.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and coordination skills.
- Ability to work in shifts, including weekends/on-call support when required.

Qualification &
- Certification

Qualification: B.Sc. IT / BCA / B.E. / B.Tech / MCA or equivalent degree.

Preferred Certifications

- VMCE (Veeam Certified Engineer)
- VMware VCP
- Microsoft Certifications
- AWS / Azure Certifications
