Role Description The Studio Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai, responsible for leading the daily operations of a Pepperfry studio. This role oversees studio staff, ensures an engaging and welcoming environment for visitors, and drives studio performance in line with business goals.
The Studio
Manager coordinates visual merchandising, maintains product presentation standards, and ensures that customers receive thorough guidance on products, services, and digital tools that support their purchase decisions.
They track and report studio metrics, manage schedules, and collaborate with central teams on marketing campaigns, inventory planning, and process improvements. The role also involves resolving customer issues, ensuring adherence to company policies, and fostering a culture of high service standards and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Experience in retail, showroom, or studio management with strong customer service and people leadership skills.
- Proficiency in store operations, including scheduling, floor management, and basic inventory coordination.
- Ability to interpret performance data, track KPIs, and implement actions to improve studio results.
- Comfort with technology, including digital sales tools, POS systems, and collaboration with central tech and marketing teams.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution abilities to work effectively with customers and team members.
- Background in home décor, furniture, lifestyle, or a related domain is advantageous.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, retail management, design, or a related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
- Willingness to work on-site in Mumbai, including weekends and peak retail hours as required.
