Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Study Abroad Advisor role based in Kochi.

The Study Abroad

Advisor will counsel students and families on suitable study-abroad destinations, universities, and courses based on academic background, financial considerations, and career objectives. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting one-on-one consultations, explaining admission requirements, guiding students through application and documentation processes, and coordinating scholarship and financial aid information. The advisor will assist with visa-related guidance,



prepare students for interviews and pre-departure orientations, and maintain accurate records of student interactions and application status. The role also involves staying updated on international education trends, building relationships with institutional partners, and contributing to outreach activities such as seminars, workshops, and information sessions.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Educational Consulting and Consulting to guide students through course, university, and country selection.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Interpersonal Communication skills to interact effectively with students, families, and institutional partners.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Visas and related procedures to support students with visa documentation and process guidance.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Management, or a related field are preferred.
- Additional beneficial skills include attention to detail, problem-solving, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to manage multiple student cases simultaneously.
- Prior experience in study-abroad advising, student counseling, or international education services is an advantage.
- Proficiency in English and local languages, along with strong computer and documentation skills, will be beneficial.
