Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Senior Accountant who can independently manage the companys day-to-day accounting, taxation, statutory compliances, payroll-related workings and finalisation of accounts.

The candidate should have strong practical knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, accounting entries, reconciliations, payroll, statutory filings and preparation/finalisation of financial statements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting & Bookkeeping

* Handle day-to-day accounting and data entry in Tally / ERP.

* Pass purchase, sales, receipt, payment, journal and other accounting entries.

* Maintain and scrutinise general ledgers.

* Maintain accounts payable and receivable.

* Prepare and review debtor and creditor ageing.

* Perform regular bank, customer and vendor reconciliations.

* Ensure books of accounts are accurate and up to date.

2. GST Compliance





* Handle complete GST compliance independently.

* Prepare and file GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B.

* Reconcile purchase/input tax credit with GSTR-2B.

* Check GST applicability, rates, input credit and documentation.

* Handle GST payments and maintain GST working papers.

* Assist in annual GST return and reconciliation requirements.

* Coordinate with consultants/auditors for GST notices, queries and assessments.

3. TDS & Taxation

* Calculate and account for TDS on various transactions.

* Ensure timely TDS payments and quarterly TDS return filing.

* Reconcile TDS ledgers with Form 26AS / TRACES.

* Handle TDS certificates and related documentation.

* Assist with Income Tax computations and company tax filings.

* Coordinate with CA/tax consultants for tax-related matters, assessments and notices.

4. Payroll & Salary Working

* Prepare monthly salary workings.

* Calculate deductions such as TDS, PF, ESIC, Professi
