Job Title: Commis I – Indian

Location: The Bawa Kitchen, Chakala, Mumbai

Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook Indian dishes as per standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Assist the Chef de Partie/Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations.
- Handle Indian gravies, curries, vegetables, dals, breads and other preparations.
- Ensure proper mise-en-place before every meal period.
- Maintain consistency in taste, quality and presentation.
- Follow food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards.
- Ensure proper storage and labelling of food items.
- Minimize food wastage and maintain portion control.
- Check the quality and freshness of ingredients before use.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment and kitchen areas.
- Follow FIFO and proper food storage practices.
- Coordinate with other kitchen team members for smooth service.
- Assist in receiving and checking kitchen supplies when required.
- Follow all hotel/company policies and safety procedures.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
