Role & responsibilities
- The Candidate will be responsible for handling CAPEX /OPEX Engineering Purchase for Fertilizer Mfg Co for greenfield expansion, and modernization projects.
- The Candidate will be responsible for procurement of process equipment, utilities, electrical, instrumentation, automation, HVAC, piping, and other engineering items.
- The Candidate will be responsible for vendor identification, development, evaluation, negotiation, and finalization.
- The Candidate will be responsible for RFQ, techno-commercial evaluation, price negotiation, PO placement, and delivery tracking.
- The Candidate will be responsible for cost optimization, budget control, and procurement savings.
- The Candidate will be responsible for coordinating with Engineering, Projects, Finance, Production, and Maintenance teams.
- The Candidate will be responsible for vendor performance, contract management, and timely project execution.




- The Candidate will be responsible for SAP/ERP-based procurement processes, MIS, and audit compliance.
- The Candidate will be responsible for leading the CAPEX procurement team and developing alternate sources.

Preferred candidate profile
- The Candidate should haveB.Tech Mechanical Engg with 1520 years of experience in CAPEX / OPEX Engineering Procurement.
- The Candidate should have experience in Agrochemical, Chemical, Specialty Chemical OR Fertilizer CO.
- The Candidate should have robust negotiation, vendor development, cost optimization, and contract management skills.
- The Candidate should have good knowledge of SAP/ERP and engineering equipment.
- The Candidate should have strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
