Job Summary

The Rural Sales & Operations - Biomass Bank role is responsible for driving farmer engagement, aggregation readiness, field execution, and Soil Nutrition (FOM) sales within the assigned Biomass Bank catchment. The role focuses on community engagement, onboarding of farmers and partners, harvest planning through ground truthing, daily aggregation scheduling, quality compliance, and execution of FOM sales plans- leveraging both manual field processes and platform-based systems to ensure predictable aggregation, accurate data, and effective rural market penetration.
Responsibilities
1. Community Engagement & Market Development
- Community Engagement: Drive community engagement initiatives at the village level.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key influencers, farmers, and local government administration.
- Promoter Management: Hire, train, and manage promoters for field-level activities.
- FOM Sales Planning: Prepare half-yearly FOM Sales Plan and BEAT Plan covering villages, individual farmers, potential farmers, key retailers, and hero farmer meetings.

Training & Capacity Building
- Operator Training: Conduct and coordinate equipment operator training programs.
- Equipment Usage: Ensure operators are trained on the correct and secure usage of equipment.
- OEM Compliance: Reinforce OEM guidelines for equipment operations, including parameters such as baler pressure.
3. Promoter Management & Commercial Processing
- Attendance Tracking: Track promoter attendance on a monthly basis.
- Invoice Processing: Process promoter salary invoices and ensure accurate documentation.
- SLA Compliance: Ensure timely submission of invoices as per defined SLA.
- Payment Coordination: Coordinate with finance teams and vendors for timely payment closure.
4. Onboarding of Ecosystem Partners
- Farmer Onboarding: Onboard farmers on the platform.
- Aggregation Partner Onboarding: Identify and onboard aggregation partners as per operational requirements.
