Job title: Project Head

Role & responsibilities

The Project Head (PH) plays a pivotal role in overseeing the strategic planning and execution of project to ensure alignment with the organization's business goals. The PH will plan and supervise a wide range of warehouse, factory and commercial construction projects from start to finish and will be responsible for organizing, directing and overseeing construction procedures and ensure projects are completed on-time, within budget and as per the required standards. This will include collaborating closely with procurement and contracting and leading the development of detailed project plans, assigning tasks and activities, and coordinating with teams of engineers, architects, developers, contractors and other staff. The PH has to be well-versed in all construction methodologies and procedures and able to coordinate a team of professionals of different disciplines to achieve the best results.

Preferred candidate profile

BE Civil and experience of 10-15 years in commercial construction, design or engineering is strongly preferred,



including a working knowledge of architectural plans, mechanical and building systems, warehousing construction, statutory requirements and fire norms.

Years of experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in construction management in the construction industry, of which 5+ years should be in managerial capacity. Experience in Companies like L&T;, Gammon India, Keller / Bauer or a mix. Also preferred, some experience in PMC / Consultancy in Companies like CES / Mott Macdonald.

Age - Below 50

Work Experience Requirements:

• Experience of construction in marine / difficult terrains, with saline / clayey / loose soil.

• Has experience in mixed development Commercial / factories / heavy structures like steel plants / power plants / multi storeyed buildings.

• Some experience in dealing with government offices during the tenure of the project as the project site is in a SEZ.
