Role Description: The role of the Student Visa Counsellor entails delivering comprehensive counselling services to students aspiring to pursue higher education in Canada. This full-time, in office position, based in Ahmedabad, includes conducting individualised counselling sessions, evaluating academic and career objectives, and recommending appropriate programs and institutions.

The responsibilities of the role encompass guiding students through application procedures, requisite documentation, admission criteria, and timelines, in addition to providing advice regarding examinations, scholarships, and visa-related processes in collaboration with internal teams. The counsellor will also engage in seminars, events, and outreach initiatives,



maintain meticulous student records in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, and work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a professional, ethical, and high-quality advisory experience.

Qualifications:

- Demonstrated expertise in Educational Consulting and Education, with an understanding of global education systems and academic pathways.
- Proficiency in Student Counselling, including the ability to conduct structured guidance sessions and assist students and their families in making informed decisions.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to articulate options clearly, foster trust, and present information in an engaging manner.
- Background or training in Career Counselling, with the capability to connect programs and institutions to long-term career outcomes.
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Counselling, Management, or a related discipline; prior experience in overseas education consulting, particularly for Canada, is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple student cases and deadlines effectively.
- Proficiency in utilizing CRM systems, online application platforms, and basic office productivity tools.
