TAFIA – Tamizhar Agricultural and Food Industrial Association is looking for enthusiastic student volunteers to join us for a 6-month volunteering programme.

This is an opportunity for students who want to gain practical experience by being part of real-world events, workshops, training programmes, awareness initiatives, and other activities conducted by TAFIA.

What will you be doing?

As a TAFIA Student Volunteer, you can contribute based on your interests, skills and strengths. There is no single fixed role — you can explore different areas and take part in what interests you.

You may get opportunities to contribute to:

Event Planning & Coordination – assisting with planning and execution of TAFIA events and workshops

Design & Creative Work – posters, social media creatives, presentations and other visual content

Marketing & Promotion – social media promotion, outreach and event publicity

Event Support – registrations, participant coordination, venue arrangements and on-ground execution

Content & Communication – creating captions, content, documentation and promotional material

Research & Ideation – supporting research, developing ideas and contributing to new initiatives

Workshop Support – assisting speakers, trainers and participants during programmes

Photography & Documentation – capturing and documenting events and activities

Any other area where you can contribute your skills and ideas

You don't have to be an expert in everything.

Duration

6 Months

Volunteers will have the opportunity to participate in TAFIA's events, workshops, programmes and initiatives conducted during the volunteering period.

Upon successful completion of the six-month volunteering programme, participants will receive a:

Certificate of Volunteering Experience from TAFIA recognising their contribution and participation throughout the six-month programme.
