Role Description The Structural Modelling & Detailing Engineering Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Nagercoil. This role oversees structural modeling and detailing activities, ensuring accurate steel design, connections, platforms, and pipe racks in alignment with relevant codes and project requirements. The individual will manage engineering workflows, coordinate with BIM, mechanical, and process teams, and review models, drawings, and calculation packs for quality and constructability.

Daily responsibilities include leading and mentoring the structural engineering and detailing team, planning and tracking project progress,



resolving technical issues, and supporting integration of tools and processes. The manager will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and clients to clarify requirements, maintain documentation, and ensure timely, coordinated delivery of structural engineering outputs.

Qualifications

- Strong Engineering Management skills, including resource planning, technical oversight, and quality assurance.
- Proven Team Leadership capabilities to mentor, motivate, and guide structural modeling and detailing teams.
- Experience with relevant Software Development or customization for engineering workflows, including integration of structural and BIM tools.
- Solid Project Management background to manage scope, schedule, risks, and stakeholder communication.
- Competence in Integration of engineering, BIM, and documentation processes to deliver coordinated models and drawings.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil or structural engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Hands-on experience with structural modeling and detailing software (e.g., Tekla, Revit, Plant 3D, or equivalent) and relevant codes/standards.
- Ability to work in office in Nagercoil, collaborate across disciplines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills; experience within EPC or fabrication environments is an advantage.
