About CodeYogi

CodeYogi Foundation gives underserved students across India early access to deep AI fluency and technology skills practical rather than theoretical, mobile-first, in their own language, with an AI tutor on the phone already in their hand. No laptop, no English requirement, no teacher in the loop. We've reached 4 lakh+ students, nearly half of them girls, with roughly 95% learning on a smartphone alone.

We work with district administrations and state governments across 9 states, 100+ districts and 4,200+ institutions. In the districts we work in, coding literacy runs at 5× the national average.

The Role

We have important relationships to maintain, but no one is dedicated to doing it full-time.

CodeYogi works with senior government officials, philanthropists and CSR leaders who support us, and partners who connect us to new people. We need to keep these connections strong and build new ones.

Right now, our executives manage this alongside their other responsibilities. This means delays in messages, missed follow-ups, and long gaps in communication with people who are important to us. Your job will be to fix this.

You'll manage and strengthen these key relationships. This includes finding the best way to connect with people, ensuring regular communication, preparing our executives for meetings, and following up so nothing is missed. When done well, your work will feel seamless — people will simply feel that CodeYogi always remembers them.

Ask yourself this for everything you do:

Do the people we work with feel that CodeYogi values them and never forgets them?

What You'll Do

Know the people

- Learn about each person in detail, their personality, what drives them, what they dislike, and how they prefer to communicate.
- Understand how they and CodeYogi can support each other.
- Look for opportunities to connect changes on their side or updates from us they'd find valuable.

Start new relationships

- Focus on key people identified by the team and find the best way to reach out.
- Make the first message thoughtful and personal, no generic introductions.

Run the conversations

- Manage messages — email, LinkedIn,

WhatsApp with the people who matter to us.
- Work with executives to plan how often to stay in touch with each person and ensure it happens.
- Follow up so nothing gets missed, no unanswered messages or forgotten commitments.
- Do whatever it takes to keep relationships strong and ensure people value and remember our work.

Prepare the executives

- Write pre-meeting notes so executives walk in knowing who they're meeting, the current situation, and what to say.
- Send follow-up messages after meetings so the connection keeps moving.
- Collaborate with executives and team members to gather the data and stories needed for your messages.

Keep the record accurate

- Check and correct the CRM updates made by our AI to ensure all relationship details are accurate.

AI will assist you with tasks like researching people, updating the CRM, and drafting messages, but you'll decide what to say, when to say it, and when something doesn't feel right.

At first, executives will stay closely involved and review your work. Over time, the goal is to build trust, so they can hand you a relationship without needing to worry.

What You'll Get

- Work closely with our executives. You'll learn firsthand how partnerships with governments and philanthropists are created.
- Impact lakhs of students. The relationships you manage will help bring our programs to new areas.
- Shape this role yourself. This is a new position at CodeYogi. You'll be the first to take it on and define how it works.
- Collaborate with all kinds of people. From senior officials to storytellers, you'll learn to communicate with people who think in very different ways.

What We're Looking For

We value the relationships you've built, not just your job titles. If you've managed significant relationships for someone else or created strong connections over email and messages — we'd love to hear from you.

- Understanding people — You know what drives different individuals whether it's data, stories, technical details,

or emotions — and can adjust your message to fit their style.
- Writing that persuades — You craft messages that people want to respond to, starting with their needs, not ours.
- Strong English and Hindi — You write polished English for official communication and use Hindi to build trust and warmth.
- Reading the relationship — You notice when things are improving or slipping and can act quickly to keep things on track.
- Being disciplined and timely — You follow up regularly without reminders and respond quickly to maintain strong relationships.
- Preparing for meetings — You know exactly what an executive needs to lead a conversation and can summarize it in a concise note.
- Listening carefully — You fully understand the other person's perspective before sharing your own.

Where You Might Have Built These Skills

This role doesn't fit just one job title. You might have gained these skills as:

- A senior executive assistant to a founder or CEO
- A chief of staff
- A client services or account lead at an agency
- A PR, communications, or corporate affairs professional
- A donor relations or partnerships manager
- Someone who managed important relationships for someone else

Nice to Have

Helpful but not required on Day 1:

- AI-fluent research — Comfortable using AI tools to research people and organizations. If not, we'll teach you.

How We Work at CodeYogi

At CodeYogi, we value:

Mission Alignment · Ownership · Resourcefulness · Empathy · Integrity · Communication & Collaboration · Adaptability · Excellence

These values guide how we work together. They don't replace skills but reflect what we expect from our team. Integrity is especially important.

What We're Strict About

Discretion. You'll be trusted with private conversations and sensitive context. One careless message or leaked detail can damage years of trust. Integrity is critical.

This Role Might Not Be for You If…

- You prefer public credit for your work rather than working behind the scenes.
- You love working with people but dislike systems like follow-ups or CRM updates.
- You delay responding to messages.

Equal Opportunity

CodeYogi Foundation is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion. We especially encourage applicants who have faced the same barriers our students experience.
