- Receive, inspect, and store sheet metal raw material (coils, sheets), consumables, and tooling (dies, punches, blades)
- Maintain accurate stock records and inventory registers
- Issue material and tooling to operators against job cards
- Coordinate with the Purchase/Supply Chain team for reordering before stock runs low
- Support the Sheet Metal Supervisor with tooling management and machine changeover needs
- Conduct periodic stock verification and cycle counts
- Follow proper storage practices (FIFO) and prevent damage, wastage, or loss
- Maintain documentation accurate enough to hold up under a quality or compliance audit
We're Looking For
- ITI, Diploma, or equivalent qualification; relevant experience also considered
- Prior stores/inventory experience, ideally in a sheet metal or fabrication environment
- Basic computer skills — comfortable with Excel or inventory software
- Strong attention to detail
- Honesty and reliability with inventory records — this matters more in this role than most. Stock discrepancies are easy to hide and hard to catch late; we're looking for someone who reports a shortage or a mistake the day it happens, not the day it's discovered.
- Physically able to handle stock movement and warehouse work
We Offer
- Competitive salary based on experience
- PF and ESI as applicable
