Role Description The Storekeeper role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kanyakumari district. The Storekeeper will be responsible for receiving, unloading, and verifying materials, ensuring that items are stored safely and accurately in designated locations. Daily tasks include managing inventory records, tracking stock levels, preparing materials for dispatch, and coordinating packing activities to support project timelines.

The role involves operating material-handling equipment as required, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the store area, and working closely with procurement, logistics,



and project teams to ensure timely availability of materials. The Storekeeper is expected to follow safety procedures, company policies, and documentation standards at all times.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid inventory-related skills, including Inventory Control and Inventory Management.
- Candidates should possess materials handling skills, such as Unloading and Forklift Operation (valid certification or license preferred).
- Candidates should possess packaging and dispatch skills, including experience with Packing and basic labeling and documentation.
- Ability to maintain accurate records, use basic inventory or ERP software, and handle documentation for inward and outward materials.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work in an industrial environment following safety guidelines.
- Prior experience as a storekeeper or in warehouse/store operations in engineering, construction, or industrial projects is an advantage.
- Minimum educational qualification of a high school diploma; vocational or technical training in logistics, warehousing, or related fields is beneficial.
