Role Description The Store Executive role is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad within Usha’s Automotive division.
The Store
Executive will manage day-to-day store operations, including receipt, storage, and issuance of materials and components, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring proper documentation.
Responsibilities include coordinating with procurement, production, and dispatch teams, monitoring stock levels, and supporting timely material availability for manufacturing and export orders.
The role also involves conducting regular stock checks, ensuring compliance with safety and quality procedures, maintaining orderly storage layouts, and using relevant systems or software for inventory tracking.
The Store
Executive will contribute to continuous process improvement, assist in reporting and data analysis, and support internal and external audits as required.
Qualifications
- Strong inventory management and store operations skills, including material handling, stock monitoring, and documentation.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and ERP or inventory management systems for data entry, reporting, and tracking.
- Good coordination, communication, and teamwork abilities to work effectively with procurement, production, logistics, and quality teams.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accurate records, orderly storage, and compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Prior experience in store, warehouse, or materials management roles, preferably in automotive or manufacturing environments.
- Educational background in commerce, supply chain, logistics, or a related field; a diploma or degree in these areas is an advantage.
- Understanding of basic inventory control concepts (e.g., FIFO, cycle counts) and exposure to audit or compliance processes.
- Ability to work on-site in Hyderabad on a full-time basis and manage physical aspects of store operations safely.
