Role Description The State Head role at Shecommerz is a full-time, on-site position based in Halol.

The State

Head will oversee end-to-end operations within the state, including planning, executing, and monitoring last-mile distribution activities to meet service-level expectations for banking, multinational, and retail clients. This role involves leading and mentoring on-ground teams, managing regional partners, and ensuring that customer experience standards are consistently met or exceeded.

Head will coordinate with senior leadership on performance metrics, budgets, and process improvements, while maintaining compliance with company policies and local regulations.



Daily responsibilities include reviewing operational reports, resolving escalations, optimizing routes and resources, and fostering strong relationships with clients and local stakeholders.

Qualifications

- Strong operational management skills, including experience overseeing multi-location or state-level distribution or logistics activities.
- Proven leadership, team management, and stakeholder engagement capabilities, with a track record of developing and guiding on-ground teams.
- Competence in planning, data-driven decision-making, and performance monitoring using dashboards, reports, and key metrics.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with clients, internal teams, and local partners.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, logistics, or a related field; an advanced degree is an advantage.
- Experience in last-mile delivery, FMCG distribution, banking or financial services field operations, or retail network management is preferred.
- Comfort working in on-site roles in Halol, with willingness to travel within the state for field visits and reviews.
- High level of integrity, problem-solving ability, and adaptability in a fast-paced, growth-oriented setting.
