Job Summary

The Staff Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care across various clinical areas, including emergency care, USG room, OT, injection room, ward, and PCPNDT room. The role requires strong clinical skills, compassionate patient handling, accurate documentation, and strict adherence to healthcare regulations and safety standards. Provide direct and indirect nursing care, including support during emergency situations. Deliver patient care with empathy, dignity, and professionalism across all assigned areas on a rotational basis (USG Room, OT, Injection Room, Ward, PCPNDT Room).

Responsibilities

- Provide direct and indirect nursing care, including support during emergency situations.

- Deliver patient care with empathy, dignity, and professionalism across all assigned areas on a rotational basis (USG Room, OT, Injection Room, Ward, PCPNDT Room).

- Assist in positioning and preparing patients for procedures.

- Clearly explain procedures, medications, and treatment plans to patients and address their queries.

- Assist clinicians during ultrasound procedures.

- Accurately document USG findings and treatment plans in patient files and digital systems.

- Record prescribed medications, including stimulation/HRT drugs, and communicate trigger timings effectively.

- Administer injections to patients/donors as per medical prescriptions.

- Maintain adequate stock levels of injections and medications.

- Ensure proper cold chain management for temperature-sensitive drugs.

- Collect detailed and accurate patient/donor medical histories.





- Maintain updated patient records in both physical files and digital platforms.

- Ensure all necessary forms, consents, and documentation are completed prior to procedures.

- Coordinate and submit PCPNDT-related documentation within prescribed timelines.

- Maintain records of drug, injection, and equipment usage for audit and compliance purposes.

- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve patient or staff concerns effectively.

- Ensure all procedures are performed in line with SOPs and organizational policies.

- Adhere to safety standards including Universal Precautions, Infection Control, and Biomedical Waste Management.

- Maintain a clean, safe, and sterile working setting at all times.

- Ensure patient privacy, confidentiality, and ethical care standards.

- Take ownership of infection control practices and compliance within the centre.

- Participate in regular training sessions, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.

- Actively take part in emergency drills such as CPR and fire safety.

- Contribute to enhancing patient care standards and overall centre performance.

Qualifications

- GNM / B.Sc. Nursing (mandatory)

- Valid state nursing registration

- 1-3 years of clinical experience (fertility/IVF experience preferred)

- Freshers with strong clinical training may also be considered
