Role Description The Sr. Steward is a full-time, hybrid role based in Udaipur, with primary on-site responsibilities at the resort and occasional work-from-home tasks as appropriate. The role includes supervising daily dining operations, ensuring tables and service areas are set up correctly, and coordinating with kitchen and service staff to provide timely and accurate food and beverage service.

The Sr. Steward supports guest interactions by responding to requests, resolving concerns, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere in all dining areas. This position also involves training and guiding junior stewards,



enforcing hygiene and safety standards, monitoring inventory of service equipment, and supporting special events or banquets as needed.

Qualifications

- Robust customer service and communication skills to interact professionally with guests and team members.
- Hands-on experience in food & beverage and food service operations within a hotel, resort, or similar hospitality environment.
- Ability to train, mentor, and guide junior staff in service procedures and standards.
- Knowledge of basic hygiene, safety, and sanitation practices in food and beverage service.
- Previous experience in a steward or supervisory service role preferred; resort or club experience is an advantage.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, based on operational needs.
- Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in English or Hindi communication; additional local language skills are beneficial.
