Purchase
Associate to join our procurement team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in purchasing, preferably in the sheet metal or manufacturing industry, along with a solid market network and proven negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and procure raw materials, components, and services with a focus on sheet metal and related materials
- Identify and develop a reliable vendor base for cost-effective and quality procurement
- Negotiate contracts, prices, delivery timelines, and terms with suppliers
- Maintain strong relationships and connections within the market
- Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed
- Ensure timely delivery of materials and follow up with vendors to ensure compliance
- Work closely with production, quality, and inventory teams for seamless operations
- Prepare and maintain reports related to purchase orders, costs, deliveries, and vendor performance
Candidate Requirements
- 4 to 8 years of experience in purchase/procurement
- Prior experience in the sheet metal industry will be given preference
- In-depth knowledge of purchase processes, vendor management, and market trends
- Solid negotiation and communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office, ERP systems, and documentation
- Must have good market network and supplier connections in the relevant sector
