Role Description The Sr.

Design Verification

Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. The individual in this role will lead the verification of complex digital designs, including defining verification plans, developing testbenches, and creating test cases for functional and formal verification. Daily responsibilities include reviewing RTL design and micro-architecture specifications, building and maintaining verification environments, running regressions, and performing detailed debugging of simulation and hardware issues.





The role involves close collaboration with design, architecture, and validation teams to ensure coverage goals are met, design flaws are identified early, and verification methodologies are continuously improved. The engineer will also mentor junior team members, support documentation of verification results, and contribute to best practices and tooling for verification flows.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Functional Verification and Debugging to validate complex digital designs and resolve issues efficiently.
- Proficiency in RTL Design and understanding of Computer Architecture to interpret specifications and review implementation details.
- Experience with Formal Verification methodologies and tools to complement simulation-based verification and strengthen design correctness.
- Hands-on expertise with industry-standard verification tools and languages (e.g., SystemVerilog, UVM, simulators, formal tools).
- Solid knowledge of ASIC/SoC design flows, verification planning, coverage-driven verification, and regression management.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in design verification of complex SoCs or IP blocks; experience with high-speed interfaces or advanced process nodes is an advantage.

- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and a collaborative working style.
