? Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Admission Counsellor who will be responsible for engaging with prospective learners, understanding their requirements, qualifying leads, and creating genuine interest in upGrad’s programs.

You will act as an important link between potential learners and our Admission Counsellors, with a key focus on scheduling Video Counselling (VC) sessions for qualified leads.

? Key Responsibilities

- Engage with assigned leads through the auto-dialer system.
- Qualify leads based on their interest, needs, and eligibility for upGrad’s programs.
- Build rapport and establish trust through effective communication and active listening.
- Schedule Video Counselling (VC) sessions with Admission Counsellors.
- Coordinate with learners and counsellors to ensure a smooth enrollment journey.
- Maintain accurate records of lead interactions and follow-ups in the CRM.
- Consistently work towards achieving individual productivity and revenue targets.

? Eligibility Criteria

- Minimum 2 years of experience in EdTech Sales.
- Study Abroad experience will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 1 year of tenure in a single organization.




- Graduation is mandatory.
- Prior experience working in a 6-day work week.
- Currently working as an Individual Contributor (IC).
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets.

? Skills Required
- Excellent verbal communication skills with strong English fluency.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to understand learner needs with patience and empathy.
- Robust persuasion and influencing skills.
- Ability to effectively engage and convince learners to attend Video Counselling sessions.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
- Strong follow-up and time-management skills.
- Target-oriented and result-driven approach.

? Key Performance Indicators
- Minimum 300 minutes of talk time per day.
- Schedule/book 5 Video Counselling sessions per day.
- Connect with a minimum of 80% of assigned leads daily.
- Consistently meet and exceed weekly revenue targets.
