Role Description This is a full-time, on-site SPECIAL EDUCATOR / COUNSELOR role based at G.D.

Goenka Public School

Jhajjar. The role involves supporting learners with diverse needs through individualized education plans, classroom accommodations, and targeted interventions. The professional will conduct assessments, provide counseling, and collaborate with teachers, families, and school leadership to promote inclusive practices. Daily responsibilities include planning and delivering sessions, documenting student progress,



and facilitating workshops or guidance programs that enhance social-emotional development. The role also includes participation in school events, meetings, and professional development activities to strengthen inclusive education and student well-being.

Qualifications

. RCI REGISTERED

. Solid understanding of various Disabilities and experience working with learners who require specialized support.

- Teaching and Middle School classroom experience, with the ability to adapt instructional strategies to different learning profiles.
- Formal training or certification in Special Education, including knowledge of individualized education plans and inclusive pedagogies.
- Excellent Communication skills for effective interaction with students, families, and colleagues, including counseling and guidance capabilities.
- Relevant degree in Education, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.
- Ability to maintain accurate records, handle sensitive information with confidentiality, and work collaboratively within a school team.
- Familiarity with technology-based learning tools and willingness to engage in ongoing professional development.
