Key Responsibility :-

- Sourcing Strategy – Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with business requirements, product plans, and growth targets.
- Vendor Development – Identify, onboard, and develop reliable vendors, manufacturers, artisans, and suppliers across jewellery categories.
- Vendor Management – Manage vendor performance on quality, pricing, capacity, lead time, and delivery adherence.
- Costing & Negotiation – Lead product costing and commercial negotiations to achieve targeted margins and competitive sourcing costs.
- Product Development – Work closely with Design and Merchandising teams to convert concepts into commercially viable products.




- Sampling Management – Ensure timely development and approval of samples while controlling sampling costs and iterations.
- Production Planning – Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure production is aligned with sales forecasts, launches, and inventory requirements.
- Quality Management – Work closely with QC teams to maintain defined quality standards and reduce rejection and rework.
- Inventory Planning – Coordinate with Merchandising and Planning teams to ensure optimal buying quantities and minimize excess or ageing inventory.
- Lead Time Management – Monitor sourcing and production TAT and ensure timely availability of products for launches and replenishment.
- Capacity Planning – Evaluate vendor capacity and allocate production effectively based on business requirements.
- New Category Development – Identify new materials, techniques, vendors, and sourcing opportunities to support category expansion.
- Market & Trend Analysis – Track jewellery trends, raw material developments, competitor products, and sourcing innovations.
- Compliance – Ensure vendors comply with required quality, documentation, ethical sourcing, and company standards.
- MIS & Reporting – Maintain sourcing dashboards covering costs, margins, vendor performance, production status, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Team Management – Lead and develop the sourcing team, define responsibilities, and ensure timely execution of sourcing objectives.
