Role Description The Solar Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Bengaluru Area.

The Solar

Engineer will be responsible for designing solar PV systems, performing site assessments, and preparing technical drawings and specifications for solar installations. This role involves calculating energy yields, sizing system components, and ensuring compliance with relevant electrical codes, safety standards, and local regulations.

Engineer will collaborate with project managers and installation teams to support project planning, troubleshooting,



and commissioning activities. The role also includes reviewing vendor proposals, optimizing system performance, and providing technical input to improve design standards and processes.

Qualifications

- Knowledge of the Solar Industry and Solar Power, including current technologies, market trends, and regulatory considerations.
- Experience working with Solar Systems and PV Design to develop efficient, secure, and cost-effective photovoltaic solutions.
- Proficiency in Electrical Design, including understanding of single-line diagrams, load calculations, and relevant electrical codes and standards.
- Ability to use design and simulation tools (such as PVsyst, AutoCAD, Helioscope, or similar software) for system modeling and layout.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related technical field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a focus on safety and quality.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work on-site with cross-functional project teams.
- Prior experience in solar project execution, commissioning, or operations and maintenance is an advantage.
