Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Software Tester / QA Engineer with 1–2 years of hands-on experience in Manual Testing, Web & Mobile Application Testing, API Testing, Automation Testing, and Performance Testing.

The ideal candidate should be capable of identifying bugs as well as analyzing performance bottlenecks, slow APIs, database queries, and application-level issues and providing developers with transparent, data-driven information for optimization.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications.
- Create and execute test cases, test scenarios, test plans, and regression test suites.
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, UI/UX, compatibility, and exploratory testing.
- Perform web automation testing using Selenium.
- Perform Android/iOS application testing using Appium.
- Conduct API testing using Postman or similar tools.
- Validate API request/response parameters, HTTP status codes, response time, authentication, authorization, and error handling.
- Perform load, stress, traffic simulation, concurrent-user, and API performance testing using JMeter.
- Analyze JMeter reports to identify slow APIs, high response times, throughput limitations, and potential bottlenecks.
- Identify pages, APIs, database queries, or specific operations responsible for performance issues.
- Reproduce, document, and track bugs with clear steps, screenshots, logs, and supporting evidence.
- Work closely with developers to communicate technical issues and required optimizations.
- Perform regression testing after bugs and performance issues are resolved.
- Verify application fixes across different devices, browsers, operating systems, and environments.
- Maintain QA documentation, test reports, and performance testing reports.
- Participate in requirement discussions and identify potential testing risks.

Required Skills




- 1–2 years of professional experience in Software Testing / QA.
- Strong hands-on experience in Manual Testing.
- Experience testing both Web and Mobile Applications.
- Working knowledge of Selenium and Appium.
- Hands-on experience with JMeter for performance and load testing.
- Good understanding of API testing using Postman or similar tools.
- Understanding of HTTP/HTTPS, REST APIs, JSON, HTTP status codes, and request/response lifecycle.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and database queries.
- Ability to analyze API response time, server load, throughput, and concurrent-user behavior.
- Experience with bug-tracking tools such as Jira, ClickUp, Trello, or similar tools.
- Good understanding of SDLC and STLC.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Performance Testing & Analysis – Key Requirement The candidate should be able to go beyond simply reporting that an application is slow.

For example, you should be able to identify and communicate:

“The Order Listing API takes 4.8 seconds when 100 concurrent users access it. The response time increases significantly under load, so this API/query should be investigated and optimized.”

The candidate should be comfortable providing developers with reproducible test results, logs, screenshots, API metrics, JMeter reports, and performance data to help identify and resolve bottlenecks.
