Panaji

Looking for a full-time Full-Stack TypeScript Engineer to work closely with me across two main projects.

This is a remote-friendly role. I prefer someone based in Goa, or someone who can visit Goa from time to time. Strong overlap with Indian working hours is important.

The Work

You’ll work with me on an LLM-powered project management platform.

This product uses chat as the main input. User messages go through LLM workflows, and the system turns that into useful project management data. There is also work with Google Sheets and other integrations.

This is a full-stack role, but it leans toward backend workflows, integrations, LLM features, and internal tools. You should be able to build usable UIs, but this is not a design-heavy frontend role.

What I’m Looking For

You should be robust with:

- TypeScript
- Full-stack web development
- Working across frontend and backend code
- Building practical software from unclear or changing requirements
- Using LLMs as part of your engineering workflow
- Thinking clearly about systems, data flow, tradeoffs, and failure modes

You do not need deep machine learning knowledge. You do not need prior chat interface experience. You do not need prior Google Sheets API experience.

LLM Usage

LLMs are part of how we work. This is not optional.

I expect you to use LLMs in your day-to-day engineering work. I’m happy to pay for the work tools and subscriptions you need. I can also help you get much better at using them.

At the same time, I expect responsible use. Work accounts and paid tools are for work, not side projects. Sensitive information should be handled carefully.

The point is not to outsource thinking to an LLM.

The point is to use LLMs to think better, move faster, explore options, debug, and improve the quality of the work.

The Real Job The job is not just writing code.

I’m looking for someone who can be a close engineering collaborator. We’ll talk about:

- Where system boundaries should go
- How data should flow
- What tradeoffs different choices create
- What can break
- How to design systems that can change over time
- How to keep the software easy enough to maintain

I’ll provide product direction and context. You should help sharpen the thinking, ask good questions, and take features from a rough idea to shipped work.

Nice To Have

These are useful, but not required:

- Effect TS
- Cloudflare Workers, Pages, D1, KV, R2, or Queues
- Google Sheets or Google APIs
- React / TanStack
- SQLite

I like Effect and use it, but I’m happy to teach it.

First Few Months In the first 2-3 months, success means:

- Learning the projects and workflows
- Shipping useful improvements
- Communicating clearly
- Using LLMs well in your work
- Taking ownership of small-to-medium features
- Needing less supervision over time

I don’t expect you to know everything on day one. I do expect curiosity, steady progress, and clear thinking.

How To Apply

Please fill out the application form: https://forms.gle/czBGJFWdZALcXHuG6

The form will ask for:

- Your name
- Your CV
- Your salary expectation
- Your mobile contact
- When you can start
- A short intro video

For the video, please keep it under 5 minutes. Tell me who you are, what kind of projects you’ve worked on, how you approach engineering problems, and how you use LLMs in your workflow. Loom is fine, but any public video link works.
