Role Title – Software Engineer

Location- Bangalore- Manyata tech Park

Business and Team The role is part of the One Ops team within the COO organisation, contributing to the delivery and support of technology solutions that enable operational processes and business outcomes. The team works closely with engineers, product owners, architects and business stakeholders to build secure, scalable and reliable applications and services.

Impact and Contributions

Contribute to the design, development and delivery of high-quality software solutions across the One Ops platform. Apply sound engineering practices to build reliable and maintainable applications, resolve technical issues, improve existing services and support continuous improvement across the engineering lifecycle.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test and maintain applications and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build and integrate event-driven solutions using Kafka.
- Develop and support cloud-based applications and services on AWS.
- Translate business and technical requirements into scalable and maintainable software solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, troubleshooting and defect resolution.




- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments using GitHub Actions.
- Apply DevSecOps principles and security practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Work collaboratively with engineers, architects, product owners and other stakeholders to deliver business outcomes.
- Support application performance, reliability, resilience and operational readiness.
- Contribute to technical documentation, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement of engineering practices.

Essential Skills

- Strong programming experience in Java and application development using Spring Boot.
- Good understanding of microservices architecture, REST APIs and distributed application design.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud-based application development.
- Experience with Kafka or similar event-driven messaging platforms.
- Working knowledge of GitHub Actions, CI/CD and DevSecOps practices.
- Valuable understanding of relational databases, SQL and core database concepts.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in an Agile engineering environment.

Education Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
