About the Role

We are looking for a Software Development & Technical Recruitment Intern to work across both technology and talent acquisition functions.

The intern will get hands-on experience working on websites, internal tools, software solutions, and workflow automations, while also supporting the recruitment of developers and other technical professionals. This role is suited for someone who enjoys building things, learning new technologies, and has an interest in understanding and evaluating technical talent.

Key Responsibilities

Software Development & Automation

- Assist in developing and maintaining websites, web applications, and internal tools.
- Build and improve workflow automations for internal processes.
- Assist with integrating APIs and third-party tools.
- Troubleshoot and improve existing applications and automations.
- Work with team members to understand requirements and develop practical technical solutions.
- Research and experiment with new tools and technologies.
- Document development work and technical processes.

Technical Recruitment

- Assist with sourcing candidates for software development and other technical roles.
- Screen resumes and identify candidates based on role requirements.
- Conduct initial candidate screening and coordinate interviews.
- Assist in evaluating candidates' technical skills and experience.
- Coordinate technical assessments and interviews with relevant team members.
- Maintain candidate records and recruitment trackers.
- Support outreach through job portals, professional networks, referrals, and other channels.
- Help build and maintain a pipeline of technical candidates.

Additional Responsibilities

- Work closely with both the technology and HR/recruitment teams.




- Assist with improving internal recruitment and HR processes through technology and automation.
- Contribute to projects that combine technology and recruitment.
- Take on other development or recruitment-related projects based on organizational requirements.

Requirements

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of programming and software development concepts.
- Familiarity with at least one programming language such as Python, JavaScript, or similar.
- Interest in web development, automation, APIs, or building software solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to learn and work across both technical and recruitment-related responsibilities.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.

Good to Have

- Experience with web development or building personal projects.
- Familiarity with tools such as n8n, Zapier, Make, or similar automation platforms.
- Basic knowledge of databases and SQL.
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub.
- Experience with an ATS, recruitment platform, or job portals.
- Previous experience sourcing or screening candidates.
- A portfolio, GitHub profile, or other examples of technical work.
