Role Description The SMD Line Programmer and Operator is responsible for programming, setting up, and operating Surface Mount Device (SMD) production lines, including pick-and-place machines, reflow ovens, and inspection equipment. Day-to-day tasks include creating and adjusting machine programs based on PCB design files, loading components, monitoring production runs, and ensuring accurate placement and soldering quality.



The role also involves performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and collaborating with engineering and quality teams to meet production specifications and output targets.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, requiring hands-on work on the shop floor and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

- Solid foundation in Electronics, with the ability to understand technical documentation and production data.
- Knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes, SMD components, and SMT assembly workflows.
- Hands-on experience operating pick-and-place machines, reflow ovens, and AOI or SPI equipment is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced production setting.
- Diploma or degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
- Willingness to work on-site in Bengaluru and collaborate with cross-functional teams in production and engineering.
