Role descriptions / Expectations from the Role

1.Framework Alignment & Regulatory Configuration

- Align the ServiceNow IRM platform with industry frameworks (NIST, PCI‑DSS, GDPR, SOX) and ensure regulatory compliance requirements are accurately configured and operational.

2.Solution Architecture & Implementation

- Architect and implement IRM solutions across Risk, Policy & Compliance, Audit, Vendor Risk, and Business Continuity Management modules, Privacy Management, Operational Resilience
- Integrate ServiceNow IRM with external systems such as UCF or leverage ServiceNow Use Case Accelerators for compliance and regulatory content.

3.Configuration & Technical Design

- Configure IRM portals, policies, risk registers, audit test plans, vendor contracts, remediation workflows, and operational dashboards/reports.
- Design and maintain relationships and data flows between IRM modules and other ServiceNow applications (ITSM, ITOM, SecOps, etc.).
- Configure and implement modules (Policy, Risk, Compliance, Vendor Risk)
- Build and customize risk workflows, Risk assessments Risk scoring models
- Configure and implement Privacy Management and Operational Resilience
- Configure and implement Business Continuity Management (BCM)

4.Cross‑Functional Collaboration

- Work closely with Business Analysts to refine and deliver technical stories within Agile delivery frameworks.
- Partner with legal, risk, compliance, and audit stakeholders to align IRM processes with organizational and regulatory expectations.

5.Process Translation & Automation

- Translate regulatory and operational requirements into scalable IRM workflows,



data architectures, and automated platform capabilities.
- Use Flow Designer, Business Rules, and integration capabilities to streamline risk management operations.

6.Advisory, Governance & Best Practices

- Provide consulting on IRM best practices and ensure technical solutions follow ServiceNow architecture standards.
- Review and validate customizations for adherence to best practices, maintainability, and platform performance.
- Guide development and configuration teams throughout design, build, and deployment phases.

- Project development experience involving ServiceNow platform.
- BFSI background

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioural Competency)

Must-Have

1. 10+ years of overall ServiceNow solution consulting/advisory and architecture.
2. Atleast 5 years (or 2–3 full‑cycle projects) of hands‑on experience in ServiceNow IRM/GRC modules.
3. 5+ years of hands‑on experience implementing ServiceNow GRC/IRM projects (Risk Management, Audit Management, Policy & Compliance), Privacy Management, Operational Resilience, including at least one engagement for a large enterprise
4. Experience defining IRM data models (risks,



controls, issues, assessments, indicators) and designing relationships between IRM and other modules (ITSM, SecOps, HRSD, etc.).
5. Experience working with regulatory compliance frameworks within risk management environments.
6. Experience integrating ServiceNow IRM with external systems such as UCF or using ServiceNow Use Case Accelerators for regulatory and compliance content ingestion.
7. Strong knowledge of the risk lifecycle, including risk identification, scoring models (inherent/residual), controls, indicators, assessments, and compliance frameworks.
8. Experience working with GRC Workspaces (Risk, Compliance, Audit) and UI Builder for workspace customizations.
9. Experience working in GRC Privacy Management and Operational Resilience implementations
10. Experience working in GRC Business Continuity Management (BCM) implementations
11. Exposure to Integration Hub, spokes, reporting, and dashboard development.
12. Robust understanding of upgrade‑safe, modular, and scalable development practices.
13. Excellent communication, collaboration, and analytical problem‑solving skills.
14. Prior experience in the BFSI sector (preferred).

- Skill in MEAN (MongoDB / Any DB, Express JS, Angular JS, Note JS)
