Role Description The Service Engineer is a full-time, in office role based in Mumbai, responsible for supporting, maintaining, and servicing Cobotech Machines’ equipment at customer facilities. Day-to-day tasks include installing and commissioning encapsulation machines and Bottle Counting Lines, performing scheduled maintenance and repairs, and diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and control-related issues. The role involves providing technical support, training operators and maintenance teams on proper usage, and documenting service activities and findings.

The Service





Engineer will collaborate with internal engineering and quality teams to escalate complex issues, recommend technical improvements, and ensure minimal downtime for customers. Regular travel to client sites, clear communication with stakeholders, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards are core aspects of the position.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills for mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.
- Candidates should possess solid Field Service experience, including on-site installation, commissioning, and customer training.
- Candidates should possess Maintenance & Repair skills for production machinery, with the ability to perform preventive and corrective interventions.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for interacting with customers, internal teams, and documenting service reports.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related engineering field.
- Experience with pharmaceutical machinery or industrial automation is highly beneficial.
- Ability to read technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and use diagnostic tools and test equipment.
- Strong problem-solving attitude, willingness to travel, and commitment to safety and quality standards.
