Role Description The Service Advisor role at Kun Hyundai Chennai is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai.

The Service

Advisor greets customers, understands their vehicle concerns, and records service requirements accurately. This role involves coordinating with technicians, explaining recommended repairs and services, preparing job cards, and ensuring timely completion of work.

Advisor communicates service status updates, manages aftersales follow-up, and handles customer queries or concerns professionally.



A key part of the role is maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering transparent, efficient, and courteous service throughout the service lifecycle.

Qualifications

- Robust customer interaction skills, including Customer Service, Customer Satisfaction, and Customer-focused Service.
- Effective Communication skills to explain technical information clearly and build trust with customers.
- Experience or understanding of Aftersales processes, including service follow-up and handling service-related issues.
- Prior experience in automotive service, dealership operations, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced workshop environment, manage multiple cases, and meet service timelines.
- Basic technical knowledge of automobiles to interpret service needs and coordinate with technicians.
- Proficiency in relevant local languages and English, and comfort using dealership management or service software.
- Minimum of a diploma or bachelor’s degree in automobile engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related discipline is an advantage.
