About the role | What you'll be doing:
You’ll be part of the Creative Studio at Livspace, responsible for bringing our products, campaigns and stories to life through video. From product launches and e-commerce content to performance creatives, retail screens and sale campaigns, you’ll work across formats, audiences and platforms to create videos that look good, communicate clearly and get the job done. Your raw material could be anything from product photography and renders to filmed footage.
You’ll also be expected to explore AI-powered tools to turn static assets into motion, generate new visual elements and find smarter ways to create content. In short, you’ll be the person making sure Livspace has outstanding video wherever it needs to show up.
Roles & Responsibilities | What we expect you to do:
- Understand creative briefs and translate them into strong, engaging video edits that meet the objective and audience of the brief.
- Edit videos across product launches, e-commerce, performance marketing, social media, retail displays, sale campaigns and brand communication.
- Work with product photography, renders, filmed footage and other visual assets to create compelling video content.
- Bring strong motion design skills to the table, creating typography, transitions, product animations, supers, offer communication and other motion graphics.
- Create multiple versions of videos across formats, durations and platforms while maintaining consistency in the core idea and visual language.
- Work closely with designers, copywriters, brand, marketing and performance teams to bring creative ideas to life.
- Use music, sound design, pacing, typography and visual storytelling to make every edit work harder.
- Experiment with AI-powered creative and video tools to generate motion from stills and renders, create image-to-video content, generate or extend backgrounds, clean up assets and explore current production possibilities.
- Build and use editing and motion templates where they can improve speed, consistency and output without making the work feel templated.
- Manage multiple projects and revisions across different briefs and timelines, while maintaining a high standard of execution.
- Keep project files, assets and final outputs organised so that the studio can work quickly and efficiently.
- For simpler briefs, take the work from concept and raw assets through to final execution independently.
- Stay on top of new video formats, editing techniques, motion trends and AI tools, and bring relevant ideas into the Creative Studio.
- Work closely with the performance team to adapt and iterate creative based on campaign requirements and learnings.
- Be invested in the brand. Look for ways to make our product stories sharper, more engaging and more effective.
What we're looking for in you:
- You have 3–4 years of experience in video editing, preferably in a brand, advertising, creative studio, e-commerce, retail or content environment.
- You have a portfolio that demonstrates strong editing, motion design and visual storytelling. We’d like to see the work, not just hear about it.
- You have expert-level knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects,
with a working knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator.
- You are extremely comfortable with motion graphics. Typography, transitions, product animations, kinetic type and graphic systems should be firmly in your wheelhouse.
- You have a strong aesthetic sense and understand composition, pacing, typography, colour, music and sound.
- You know how to make a product look good. Whether it’s a sofa, cushion, table lamp or coffee machine, you know how to make people want to see more.
- You understand that a product launch film, an e-commerce video, a performance ad and an in-store screen may need very different treatments, and you’re comfortable adapting your style accordingly.
- You are curious about AI and actively experiment with AI-powered image and video tools.
- You can take a brief, understand what needs to be communicated and make good creative decisions without needing every frame prescribed.
- You work well with designers, copywriters, brand teams, marketing managers and performance teams, and know that good creative is rarely made in isolation.
- You value feedback, are comfortable iterating and don’t get too emotionally attached to version one.
- You have basic knowledge of videography, cameras, lighting and shooting workflows. You don’t need to be a cinematographer, but knowing which end of the camera points at the product is useful.
- You stay curious. You keep learning, experimenting with new tools and formats, and actively look for ways to make your work better.
- You are organised, manage your time well and respect deadlines.
- You love your team members as you love yourself. 16. You have fun, spread happiness and find energy even on Mondays
