Key Responsibilities
Prescription Processing: Read, verify, and dispense prescription medications and over-the-counter (OTC) drugs accurately.
Customer Consultation: Advise patients on dosage, potential side effects, contraindications, and proper storage of medicines.
Inventory & Stock Management: Monitor stock levels, track expiry dates, manage batch numbers, and reorder rapid-moving products.
Billing & Records: Operate point-of-sale (POS) and pharmacy management software for billing, cash handling, and daily transaction logs.
Compliance & Hygiene: Maintain strict compliance with state drug control regulations, storage standards (e.g., cold chain maintenance), and maintain clean dispensing counters.
