What you'll do

- Design and build microservices that are reusable, testable, and built to scale - not just to ship on time.
- Turn ambiguous business and product requirements into modular, well-architected systems.
- Own your code from design through production - write it, test it, ship it,



and watch how it performs in the real world.
- Catch defects before they become incidents - invest in the tooling, alerting, and test coverage that surfaces problems early.
- Contribute to estimates for your own tasks and projects, and flag risk before it becomes a fire drill.
- Document decisions, trade-offs, and technical debt clearly enough that someone else could pick up your work without you in the room.
- Partner with the wider engineering team to unblock hard technical problems

What we're looking for -

Must-haves

- 4–5 years of experience building and owning backend systems in production
- Strong hands-on experience in Golang, Java, or another language built for concurrency and multithreading.
- Deep, practical knowledge of MongoDB — schema design that mirrors real business logic, not just CRUD operations.
- A track record of shipping and owning features end-to-end, not just closing tickets.
- Sharp analytical instincts — you break a problem down before you start typing code.
- Working knowledge of design patterns and what actually makes a system scalable and secure, not just functional.
- Strong communication — you can explain a technical trade-off to a non-engineer in simple term

Valuable to have

- Exposure to React, Redux, or other modern frontend stacks.
- Experience in fintech, wealthtech, or another regulated environment.
