Senior SAP IDM Functional Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

- Work as an SAP Identity Management (SAP IDM) Functional Consultant with strong experience in identity lifecycle and access management processes.
- Gather and analyze business requirements related to user provisioning, de-provisioning, role assignment, access management, and identity synchronization.
- Configure and maintain SAP IDM repositories, jobs, workflows, identity stores, provisioning processes, and connectors.
- Design and support automated Joiner-Mover-Leaver (JML) processes.
- Manage user and role provisioning between SAP IDM and SAP/non-SAP target systems.
- Support integration with SAP ECC, S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, Active Directory/LDAP, and other enterprise applications.
- Troubleshoot issues related to user creation, synchronization, provisioning, role assignment, and reconciliation.
- Work closely with SAP Security, Basis, application, and infrastructure teams for IAM-related requirements.
- Support SIT, UAT, deployment, production support, and post-go-live stabilization.
- Prepare functional specifications, process flows, test scenarios, and technical/functional documentation.
- Participate in SAP IDM enhancements, migrations, upgrades, and process-improvement initiatives.




- Monitor IDM jobs and provisioning activities and ensure timely resolution of failures and exceptions.

Required Skills:

- 6+ years of relevant SAP IDM / SAP Identity Management experience.
- Strong understanding of Identity Lifecycle Management, User Provisioning, and Access Management.
- Hands-on experience with SAP IDM repositories, jobs, workflows, identity stores, and provisioning mechanisms.
- Good knowledge of SAP Security concepts, including users, roles, authorizations, and access provisioning.
- Experience with SAP and non-SAP system integrations.
- Strong understanding of Active Directory / LDAP and identity synchronization.
- Experience handling Joiner-Mover-Leaver (JML) processes.
- Knowledge of SAP IDM connectors and provisioning workflows.
- Experience in requirement gathering, functional documentation, testing, troubleshooting, and production support.
- Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with global teams.

Preferred: Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP SuccessFactors, SAP GRC, Active Directory, LDAP, and SAP Cloud Identity Services.
