About the Role

Valens Infrastructures Private Limited is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Civil Project Manager to lead and manage construction projects from planning through completion. The ideal candidate should have strong site execution, team management, planning, quality control, cost management, and client coordination skills.

The Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage complete civil construction projects from mobilization to handover.
- Plan, schedule, monitor, and control day-to-day project activities.
- Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and clients.
- Review architectural, structural, and MEP drawings and coordinate execution accordingly.
- Ensure construction work follows approved drawings, specifications, BOQ, and quality standards.
- Prepare and monitor project schedules, manpower requirements, material requirements, and equipment requirements.
- Track project progress against planned targets and take corrective action when required.
- Manage subcontractors and ensure timely completion of assigned work.
- Monitor project costs, material consumption, labour productivity, and wastage.
- Coordinate procurement and ensure timely availability of construction materials.
- Conduct regular site inspections and ensure proper quality control.
- Ensure compliance with construction safety procedures and statutory requirements.
- Identify project risks, delays, technical issues, and resource constraints and resolve them proactively.
- Maintain project documentation, daily/weekly/monthly progress reports, measurements, and records.
- Coordinate with the billing team for measurements, RA bills,



client bills, and subcontractor bills.
- Conduct regular project review meetings and report progress to management.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, consultants, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure timely completion, snag rectification, testing, commissioning, and project handover.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of RCC, masonry, plastering, finishing, waterproofing, and general building construction.
- Good understanding of construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong project planning and execution skills.
- Knowledge of BOQ, quantity estimation, rate analysis, billing, and cost control.
- Excellent manpower and subcontractor management skills.
- Valuable knowledge of construction materials and equipment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to handle multiple activities and work under project deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera, and construction reporting tools is preferred.

Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in building/civil construction projects.
- Experience in residential, commercial, apartment, or similar building projects will be preferred.

The candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment and be willing to travel or relocate to project sites in Odisha as required.

Compensation

Salary: Competitive and based on experience, skills, and project-management capability.
