Job Title : Senior Project Manager

Work Location : 5 days, Bangalore (4 days WFH in a month )

Job Overview :

We are seeking a results-driven IT Project Manager to oversee and manage IT projects. The ideal candidate will have experience leading cross-functional teams, ensuring timely project delivery, and driving collaboration across stakeholders. This role demands strong technical and domain expertise, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Plan, manage, and deliver IT projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including business, development, quality assurance, and architecture teams, to define project goals and success criteria.
- Facilitate sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups to ensure efficient Agile/Scrum execution.
- Monitor project performance using appropriate tools and techniques,



identifying and resolving risks and issues.
- Maintain detailed project documentation, including charters, plans, and status reports.
- Mentor and lead a team of developers, fostering a cooperative and innovative environment.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications :

- Insurance Domain Expertise : Proven experience in IT projects within the insurance industry, with an understanding of processes, regulations, and customer needs.
- Should have experience in managing gross margins, project cost, P&L; & profitability.
- Project Management Methodologies : Strong command of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall methodologies & Fix Bid Projects.
- Leadership Skills : Experience managing teams of 10 developers, ensuring productivity and alignment with project goals.
- Stakeholder Management : Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with senior management and clients effectively.
- Certifications : PMP, PRINCE2, or Scrum Master certification preferred.
- Analytical Thinking : Ability to analyze complex problems, identify solutions, and make informed decisions.
- Tool Proficiency : Hands-on experience with tools like JIRA, MS Project, and similar project management software.
- Domain Knowledge : Familiarity with digital transformation, automation, and emerging technologies in the insurance sector.
