Job Role: Senior OneStream Application Specialist – Support Tech Lead

About the role:

We are looking for a Senior OneStream Application Specialist to join our Finance IT / EPM application support team in Chennai and act as a Support Tech Lead for OneStream operations. In this role, you will help ensure the stability, reliability and continuous improvement of OneStream, a strategic Group platform supporting financial consolidation, reporting, planning and forecasting processes.You will work closely with the local team lead, Finance business users, IT teams, external partners and OneStream experts in an international environment connected to key Group finance stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:

- Act as the senior technical point of reference for OneStream application support within the Chennai team.
- Support the local team lead in coordinating daily support activities, prioritizing incidents and ensuring timely follow-up of service requests.
- Provide technical guidance to the support team on complex incidents, root cause analysis, recurring issues and best operational practices.
- Investigate functional, technical and data-related issues, coordinating resolution with Finance users, IT teams, vendors and solution experts.
- Maintain and improve support documentation, operating procedures and knowledge base content to strengthen team autonomy.
- Identify recurring issues, propose continuous improvement actions and help industrialize support practices.

Profile:

Must Have





- Hands-on experience with OneStream is expected (4-5 years of experience); experience with similar EPM / CPM platforms may also be considered.
- Strong understanding of finance processes, including consolidation, reporting, budgeting, forecasting and closing activities.
- Proven ability to handle complex incidents, perform root cause analysis and coordinate resolution across multiple stakeholders.
- OneStream experience in building metadata, business rules, forms, designing cube views, workflows, data reconciliation, data integrations, cube views/reports, dimensions, hierarchies, dashboards, and automations via rules.
- Ability to guide, coach and support team members in a Tech Lead capacity.

Minimum

- Good understanding of incident, change, release and service monitoring practices.
- Good knowledge of SQL, data flows, integrations and application monitoring concepts.
- Structured, service-oriented and proactive mindset, with strong analytical, communication and coordination skills.
- Coding experience in VB.NET, SQL, C#, and Python for writing complex business rules in OneStream and APIs
- Fluent English is required; ITIL certification or knowledge would be a plus.
